What’s the difference between the Adventures of Cookie & Cream and Cookie & Cream?

I remember playing the adventures for PS2 as a little kid and I still enjoy playing. I want to buy Cookie & Cream for DS, but looking at the screenshots, the levels looked exactly the same as the PS2 version. Cookie & Cream is supposedly a sequel but, I don’t see a difference. Is there a difference? If so, please tell me.
